The project Blended Intensive Program (BIP) Erasmus+ KA131 “Lifelong Learning for Diversity and Inclusive Education in European Contexts” is carried out with cooperation of the University of Szczecin ( Poland), University of Porto ( Portugal), University of Foggia ( Italy) and University Rovira i Virgili ( Spain). The project consists of a virtual part (6 lectures and online workshops delivered on 20 March, 10 April and 8 May 2026) and a onsite part (lectures, workshops, visits to museums, outdoor activities held in Szczecin on 8-12 June 2026). The project is coordinated by a team led by Dr. Anna Linka from the Institute of Pedagogy, University of Szczecin.
Why Lifelong Learning? The concept of Lifelong Learning is one of the pillars of European education.It assumes a combination of formal, informal, non-formal and incidental education addressed to diversed students groups and involving inclusive education. During the project students and academic teachers from Poland, Italy, Portugal and Spain not only take part in lectures, trainings and workshops conducted in academic halls, but also learn about diversity and inclusion through educational activities possessing the features of out-door education and pedagogy of adventure. Going beyond the scheme of divisions: the lecture halls vs. outdoor activities, students vs. teachers, monocultural vs. intercultural educational relations, enable participants to implement principles of the holistic, inclusive and culturally sensitive education.
